Focus based V8 conversions are nothing new. This one for sale in Michigan looks to be a nicely done example. Not sure if it's worth 19 grand though. You be the judge.

Ages ago, we had a commenter called "BrianV6Focus" who was working on just such a conversion. Dunno if he ever finished it though.

Looks very nicely done. Problem is finding the right person. He seems to acknowledge that he will never get his money back but that is a limited market he is pursuing. I would go national with that. But, it is Holland, Mi. Lot of money there but they are pretty frugal in a lot of ways

I hate when they swap carbed motors though!!!!
The original idea was with a modular 4.6. For 21k I could've swapped a modular in and had a much nicer motor to start with. Still awesome though. When I had my SVT Focus I planned to do this someday.
